When the New Orleans Saints made the move for running back Travis Etienne, many thought it would signal the end of Alvin Kamara's time with the NFC franchise.
With the thought being the Saints would look to offload the star back, we haven't really heard much about any potential move.
We know Kamara reportedly said he would retire rather than play for another team, and so far, Alvin hasn't had to make that decision.
But if you thought Kamara would have some ill will towards Etienne, well, he shut that down real quick.
"[He's] explosive, he hits home runs and he did it in college," Kamara said on The Set podcast via NFL.com. "Strong dude, seems smart. I'm excited to see what we could do together. I think, you know, I ain't into social media, and I don't do too much watching and stuff.
"But I think a lot of people be thinking it's like beef or something when moves like this happen and it's like, 'man, I couldn't be happier.' One, my boy got paid and, two, like it ain't nothing but some help in the backfield. That's the name of the game, shoot. Depth -- one person can't do it by themselves, so, I'm cool with it, man."

Kamara to stay a Saint?
It certainly feels that way, at least right now. But once that June 1 date passes, it will be interesting to see if any move is made.
Kamara and Etienne in the backfield behind Tyler Shough is a great setup, plus with the Saints' other offensive weapons, maybe something is cooking in New Orleans.
Second-year head coach Kellen Moore had his team playing well at the end of last season, and the hope is that he can continue that into 2026.
I get the sense that if the Saints are to continue their climb in the NFC, Kamara will play a role in it, and going by his comments, he's looking forward to partnering with Etienne, rather than being in a battle with him.
