Plenty of eyebrows were raised when Dana White and Turki Alalshikh locked down the services of Conor Benn for a reported $15 million, one-fight deal. That was further elevated after âThe Destroyerâ inked a long-term extension with Zuffa Boxing.
But it seems the powerhouse promoters are far from done signing top talent, as recent rumors suggested that current WBC Lightweight and WBO and The Ring Junior Welterweight champion, Shakur Stevenson, and current WBO Welterweight champion, Devin Haney, had joined the upstart boxing promotion.
During last nightâs (Sun., May, 10, 2026) Zuffa Boxing 6 post-fight press conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, White addressed the rumors and seemed to indicate that news of the signings was indeed imminent.
âDid we announce the Shakur StevensonâŠno? Possibly,â responded White with a grin when asked if the news was true. âListen, at the end of the day I think that everybody is going to be here at Zuffa Boxing,â before he was asked about the talks of Haney joining the roster.
âI think that everybody is going to be at Zuffa Boxing, eventually,â he said with an even bigger smile on his face. âLike I said at our first press conference, at the end of 2026, I said judge us by our body of work as we head into 2027. I donât know why I would say things that arenât true,â He added.
âI mean look at what we have done in just four months, look at tonight and look at how these guys are fighting right now. Tonight was a great card and they are only gong to get better.â
Just last week Bill Haney â -Devinâs father â teased that his son had inked a new $100 million deal, further adding fuel to the fire.
Of course, should the signings come to pass donât expect these two mega boxing stars to compete at the Meta Apex. Instead, a joint boxing venture such as the previous one in which the aforementioned Conor Benn faced as the co-main event to and in London live On Netflix (), seems more appropriate.
Dana White did not confirm the signing but suggested that news regarding Shakur Stevenson could be imminent.
Devin Haney's potential signing would further elevate Zuffa Boxing's roster, adding to its competitiveness in the boxing promotion landscape.
Conor Benn signed a reported one-fight deal worth $15 million with Zuffa Boxing.

At the end of the day, potential huge signings such as these two means that they will be promoted by the company, and possibly headline bigger Zuffa Boxing events at bigger venues down the road. Donât forget, Dana White and Co. did co-promote the massive Terence Crawford vs. Canelo Alvarez event last September, so they are no strangers to mega events.
Furthermore, should Stevenson (25-0) â who was previously promoted by Eddie Hearn and Matchroom Boxing â and Haney (33-0-1) â who is promoted under his own company alongside his father â find themselves under contract with Zuffa Boxing then a showdown between the two may finally go down after years of failed negotiations to get the fight done.
After all, they have the deep pockets to get it done and giving fight fans the bouts they want to see is White and Alalshikhâs number one objective. Now, if White can just play nice with the rest of boxingâs sanctioning bodies, then the sky truly is the limit.
