If youâre planning a trip to Dodger Stadium, the costs can add up quickly.
Thatâs why Dodgers Nationâs Noel Sanchez and Ava Brand broke down how to get the best bang for your buck at Dodger Stadium.
But talking to fans, it seems a lot of you have your own ways to save a buck or two, so we asked, and you answered.
When it comes to buying tickets, some at Dodger Stadium were quick to remind their fellow fans that youâre not confined to your seat. In fact, the stadium is meant to be explored.
âHonestly, we buy standing tickets,â one fan told Noel. âWe find the cheapest tickets and kind of chill somewhere.â
The most common answer we got, though, was to save money on drinks by having one or two before you enter the gates, which can be a bit of a gray area.
âOh man, I donât know if we can say it on camera,â one fan said with a laugh.
But eventually, that fan and plenty of others opened up on their strategies.
âEnjoy your time before you get to the stadium,â that fan said.

âWe pregame,â another fan said.
âHonestly, youâve got to pregame in the parking lot, respectfully,â a fan said.
The ârespectfullyâ is an important word here, as tailgating is very much banned at Dodger Stadium.
âThe stadium defines tailgating as taking part in such activities as consumption of food and alcoholic beverages and/or congregating anywhere on stadium property, e.g. in any of the parking lots,â the team says on its website. âIn order to suppress potential fire hazards, the Dodgers prohibit disorderly conduct, noise disturbances, etc., tailgating or picnicking in any of Los Angeles Dodgers parking lots before, during, or after an event.â
Another fan put it more bluntly as âgetting drunk before.â
Of course, we encourage people to drink responsibly and avoid overindulging, but if you are looking to have a beer before first pitch, check out our bar guide here.
And if you want to grab a bite to eat as well, check out our restaurant guide. Quick note: While you canât bring booze in, you can bring in your own food, which could be another way to save a couple of bucks.
