According to The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya, the NL West club will add first baseman/outfielder Ryan Ward to the active roster for Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies.
Ward, 28, will presumably make his Major League debut this weekend or another upcoming day. He got off to a hot start at Triple-A Oklahoma City, hitting .324/.432/.588 with four home runs and a 1.020 OPS in 68 at-bats.

"Though Ward is 28 years old, his left-handed power makes him a prospect, and he would have been a better left-field option for Los Angeles than Michael Conforto last season," Ward's MLB Pipeline bio reads. "He consistently hits balls hard and drives them in the air, giving him solid pop that plays from foul pole to foul pole."
The Dodgers selected Ward in the eighth round of the 2019 draft after his collegiate baseball career at Bryant University.
He hit 36 home runs and totaled 122 RBIs in 143 games at Triple-A in 2025 and won the PCL MVP.
