During his second game at Dodger Stadium following his controversial comments, Pete Crow-Armstrong made a major mistake.
Over the preseason, PCA called out Dodger fans over their behavior at the ballpark.
“I love Chicago more and more,” he said. “It’s just an incredible city. The people are great. They aren’t just baseball fans who go to the game like Dodgers fans to take pictures and whatever. They are paying attention. They care.”

He has since doubled down on his comments multiple times, leading to increased animosity from the fanbase toward the player.
On Friday, during the first game of the season, Crow-Armstrong was greeted with a chorus of boos at every plate appearance, though he ended up with the last laugh as the Dodgers gave up a 4-0 lead and lost 6-4, with the outfielder reaching base twice.
Saturday was a different story as PCA went 0-4 with four strikeouts, failing to do anything with all of the pitches that he got.
Additionally, he had an embarrassing moment when he lost track of the ball during a fly ball in the bottom of the fifth inning, which fell for a double for Alex Freeland.

In the aftermath of the play, the Dodger fans took advantage of the situation to make fun of PCA and make it known that they do, in fact, watch games.
“I know PCA is hoping dodgers fans were actually on their phones so they didn’t see that bum miss a catch,” sorrylui wrote on X.
“One would say that was a picture worthy catch,” dkknowsball wrote in another post.
“lol karma finds you no matter what,” Drew3werD added.
“Lucky for him we were on our phones so we didn’t see it,” saddodgerfan said.
Crow-Armstrong gets the chance to shake off his mistake on Sunday, though Dodger fans will make sure to make their presence known and take pictures if he makes another mistake.
