Dodgers notes: Justin Wrobleski, Miguel Rojas, Shohei Ohtani

How Wrobleski will perform the rest of the year is unclear. What is clear is the young left-hander has made a strong case to stay in the Dodgers’ rotation with the impending return of Blake Snell later this month. As far as which Dodger will be axed from the rotation once Snell returns and if Tyler Glasnow will be ready for his next start, Dave Roberts is still undecided on who will find themselves in the bullpen, per Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. Emmet Sheehan will try to prove his worth tonight against the former Cy Young award winner Chris Sale. In making that decision, “there’s a lot of different ways we can go,” Roberts said… “If we get to that point it’s going to be a good conversation, a tougher conversation with someone,” Roberts said.

Miguel Rojas had the opportunity to chat with his former Marlins teammate and former Dodger Curtis Granderson on TNT prior to Tuesday’s game, where the infielder discussed the transition from playing everyday to being in a bench/platoon role and the importance of being the best teammate he can be.
