The right-hander has had a rough return to the rotation after spending last postseason in the bullpen, and has a 5.23 ERA through his six starts. He has struck out 36 batters in 31 innings pitched.

Who Is in the Dodgers’ lineup?

Shohei Ohtani will lead off and serve as the designated hitter as usual, and catcher Will Smith moves up to No. 2 in the lineup.

First baseman Freddie Freeman will bat third, and center fielder Andy Pages is batting cleanup.

Teoscar Hernandez bats fifth, with fellow outfielder Kyle Tucker batting sixth.

Shortstop Miguel Rojas bats seventh, and third baseman Max Muncy will bat eighth.

Chris Sale will make his eighth start of the season for the Braves in the series opener, and the Dodgers will have their hands full with the southpaw. Sale has pitched 42 innings and has just a 2.14 ERA to go with 49 strikeouts, and he is among the frontrunners for the NL Cy Young award through the first month or so of the season.

The Dodgers will have to keep their bats going if they’re to have any chance against the team with the best record in the National League.
