MIAMI GARDENS ― The Miami Dolphins have a four-year extension agreement with running back De'Von Achane, according to a league source.
The deal is for four years, $68 million, with $32 million guaranteed, according to multiple reports.
Jets running back Breece Hall recently got a three year deal worth up to $45.5 million.
Achane, 24, was the Dolphins' only Pro Bowler last season.
Achane had 1,350 rushing yards and 488 receiving yards. The Dolphins plan to run even more under first-year head coach Jeff Hafley.
Achane is the first major player new general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan has extended. He has said he would also like center Aaron Brewer and linebacker Jordyn Brooks to be a part of the team's future core.
De'Von Achane's new contract with the Dolphins is worth four years and $68 million, with $32 million guaranteed.
Last season, De'Von Achane had 1,350 rushing yards and 488 receiving yards, making him the Dolphins' only Pro Bowler.

Achane was a third-round pick out of Texas A&M. Even though he's only 5-foot-9, 191 pounds, Achane is strong and tough and unafraid to run inside or take big hits.
Some have compared Achane to former NFL star Warrick Dunn.
Achane is one of the fastest and most electric offensive weapons in the NFL.
The Dolphins have a chance to be decent on offense in 2026, especially if quarterback Malik Willis lives up to club expectations and rookie Kadyn Proctor boosts their offensive line.
The average annual value of the extension of $16 million will put Achane behind only Saquon Barkley and Christian McCaffrey in contract average.
Achane is under contract for this season with a cap hit of only $2.3 million, according to Spotrac. They say there is also a scheduled void year cap hit of $3.7 million for 2027.
