The Miami Dolphins, after trading Jaylen Waddle and releasing Tyreek Hill and Nick Westbrook-Ikhine, don't exactly have the most-talented wide receiver room in the league.
In fact, if the season started today, Miami's top three wide receivers would be Jalen Tolbert, Tutu Atwell and Malik Washington, who are all more suited to be a team's third option at the position.
With that, the Dolphins should be looking to select a wide receiver early in the 2026 NFL draft, and one prospect that they've already met with is making it clear where he stands among his peers.
"I’m the best receiver in this draft. Period," Texas A&M's KC Concepcion wrote in "The Players' Tribune" on Thursday.
Concepcion, 21, was a four-star recruit out of Julius L. Chambers High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. He spent two years at NC State before transferring this past year to play with the Aggies. He earned All-Conference honors twice in his collegiate career and was even named an All-American in 2025.
In 38 games between the two schools, he caught 185 passes for 2,218 yards and 25 touchdowns. His nine touchdowns in 2025 led the SEC.
Concepcion met with the Dolphins last week, and he could be in play for the team with one of their two first-round selections, and if he's as good as he thinks he is, he'll be a welcomed addition to Bobby Slowik's offense.
