The Miami Dolphins might be one of the more interesting teams in the 2026 NFL Draft. They own two first-round picks, at No. 11 and No. 30 overall.

With those selections, the Dolphins will have the chance to land premier players to make their roster a whole lot better. But the Dolphins are not in a win-now mode, so they can focus solely on their rebuild and plan for the long-term.

With the Dolphins' trajectory in a different spot than most other teams, their plan in Round 1 is going to be interesting. ESPN's Matt Miller reports that NFL sources believe there are three positions the Dolphins are planning to target in the draft in Round 1.

"When polling NFL sources on what the Dolphins' new regime, led by former Packers scout Jon-Eric Sullivan, might do, opinions varied between wide receiver, cornerback, and offensive line," Miller writes.

Coming into the 2026 NFL Draft, with the No. 11 pick, the Dolphins are seemingly eyeing one of three positions. All three make a ton of sense for the Dolphins.

Offensive line is an obvious need, as they need to upgrade their guard spots and could use a long-term plan at right tackle. Miller predicts Spencer Fano, the Utah lineman who can play guard or tackle, as the pick at No. 11 overall.

Wide receiver is also an obvious need, as the Dolphins released Tyreek Hill and traded Jaylen Waddle this offseason without finding any suitable replacements. Ohio State's Carnell Tate, USC's Makai Lemon, and Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson are WR targets.
