The biggest question facing every WNBA team in training camp
WNBA training camps open with key questions for each team.
Milan Futuro secured a dominant 4-0 victory against Brusaporto, with goals from Minotti, Sardo, Magrassi, and Traorè. This win consolidates their fifth place in Serie D, bringing them closer to the playoff spots.
DOMINANT MILAN FUTURO WIN 4-0 IN BRUSAPORTO
A convincing win for Milan Futuro, who put in a dominant display on the road and defeated Brusaporto 4-0. After an encouraging first half, opened by Minotti’s first goal, the Rossoneri truly found their rhythm after the break, extending their lead through Sardo, Magrassi and Traorè. The visitors controlled both the tempo and the territory, producing an inspired attacking display. It was exactly the kind of response needed after the recent setback against Real Calepina FC (0-1), which had followed draws with Villa Valle SSD (1-1) and Sondrio Calcio (2-2). Oddo's side were back to their best, showcasing their considerable talent.
Beyond the goalscorers, recognition must also go to Ossola for his outstanding performance and to Dalpiaz for his valuable contribution, with Longoni making his debut. The result from Serie D's Matchday 31 consolidates Milan Futuro in fifth place in the standings with 50 points, closing the gap to Leon to just one point and extending their advantage over the playoff line to four. Next weekend, on Sunday 19 April at 15:00 CEST, the Rossoneri travel to Solbiate Arno to face Varesina — the start of a run of fixtures that may look favourable on paper, but will be delicate and crucial for maintaining momentum.

MATCH REPORT The first attacking signs came from Ossola: he had a crack in the 2nd minute but his effort lacked power, and his attempt five minutes later had a similar outcome. Milan Futuro gradually increased both the volume and the danger of their attacks: in the 12th minute Magrassi’s powerful strike was parried by Taramelli, while in the 16th Zukić rose highest from a corner, again testing the home goalkeeper. The breakthrough arrived in the 30th minute: after a scramble in the box, Minotti reacted quickest to a loose ball and fired home to make it 1-0. The Rossoneri almost doubled their lead shortly after, when in the 32nd minute, Magrassi released Traorè, who raced clear before being denied by a crucial intervention from Taramelli. A minute later Tartaglia delivered a cross that Magrassi narrowly failed to reach. Brusaporto responded with a few chances of their own: in the 35th minute Torriani did well to gather a free kick from Selvatico, while later he denied Asiatico. In between, Cappelletti fired just wide. Just before the end of the first half, Traorè had another missed opportunity.
Milan Futuro doubled their advantage immediately after the restart: in the 46th minute, Tartaglia played the ball forward, Ossola lifted it into the area and Sardo finished calmly with a low shot into the corner to make it 2-0. Seven minutes later, the match was effectively settled. Released by Traorè, Magrassi rounded Taramelli and rolled the ball into an empty net for 3-0. With the hosts struggling to respond – their best effort coming from Maraschi in the 55th – Milan Futuro managed the game comfortably. In the 69th minute they added a fourth: another vertical pass from Ossola set Traorè through, and the forward finished with composure to seal the 4-0 scoreline. Dalpiaz produced a lively run in the 74th minute, while late attempts from Austoni and Siani failed to trouble debutant goalkeeper Longoni.
