After a dreadful campaign, including an entire half of the season without a win in the Premier League, Wolverhampton, featuring Brazilians João Gomes, André, and Pedro Lima, had their relegation to the Championship mathematically confirmed this Monday (20).

After getting a lifeline with Tottenham’s defeat, West Ham picked up a point with a 0-0 draw away to Crystal Palace.

The result sealed Wolves’ relegation after eight straight seasons in the top flight.

West Ham reached 33 points, staying in 17th place.

They can no longer be caught by bottom side Wolves, who have 17 with only 15 still available for both teams.

Burnley, in 19th with 20, is likely to be the next to have its fate sealed.

As for the last remaining spot, it should come down to Tottenham (18th with 31), the aforementioned West Ham (33), Nottingham (16th with 36), or Leeds (15th with 39).
