The Warriorsâ 2025-2026 season ended on Friday, April 17, with a 111-96 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Since then, Greenâs offseason has largely seen him being the butt of jokes either in person or online.
During an appearance on âInside the NBA,â Barkley talked about what looks like the end of the Warriorsâ dynasty. Green joked that his goal is not to end up like Barkley in a Houston Rockets uniform. While the Warriors forward smirked, the internet had a field day showing how Barkleyâs stats in Houston are largely better than any in Greenâs career.

Barkley didnât respond in the moment, but did two days later on a radio show. He simply said, âI never punch down. Draymond Green is a good player. Weâre not on the same level.â
Just two days after Barkleyâs response, Green caught even more flak at Hartâs roast. Comedian Shane Gillis joked, âDraymond Green is the first player to make four All-Star teams for just setting picks.â

While Hart was the star of the show, outside of him, Green arguably took the most heat from the rest of the roasters. The forward smiled through it all and laughed, but the month of May is off to a rough start for Green as he mulls over his player option with Golden State.
