In an appearance on Good Morning Football, the former New England Patriot had a lot of praise for Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix. "First of all, I have to admit that it's kind of hard for me to cheer for an Oregon Duck," said Bledsoe, who played college football at Washington State. "They kind of had my number in college... but I'm a big Bo Nix fan, and watching what he's done as quickly as he's done it, and then look, as a quarterback, your play caller can be your best friend, and if you got a great one, man it makes life easy."
Bledsoe actually had Broncos head coach Sean Payton as his offensive coordinator as a member of the Dallas Cowboys in 2006, and called Payton "definitely my favorite play caller" later in the interview. You can view Bledsoe's full comments below.
Nix is coming off a historic second season, which culminated in his first playoff victory. Unfortunately, after the playoff victory, Nix's season ended in heartbreak when he learned that suffered a fractured ankle during the final stages of the game.
Despite the injury, Nix is said to be ahead of schedule on his recovery, according to general manager George Paton, and will be good to go by the beginning of Denver's offseason program. The sky is the limit for Nix, who is flush with , as well as extra motivation to reach the Super Bowl.
