Jalen Williams officially ruled out for Game 3 against the Lakers due to a hamstring strain.
Drew Wyers is out for Mississippi State's Game 2 against Auburn after being hit in the head during warmups. Ryder Woodson will start in his place for the second consecutive game.

STARKVILLE — Drew Wyers is not in the lineup for Mississippi State baseball's Game 2 against Auburn on May 8.
He was a scratch from the series opener on May 7 after getting hit in the head with a ball during warmups, then listed as out on the May 8 injury report.
Ryder Woodson is starting for Wyers at shortstop in the second straight game.
Wyers was standing in foul territory past third base when he got hit while Auburn was taking batting practice. MSU ruled him out with dizziness.

“It was just a random thing," coach Brian O'Connor said after the No. 11 Bulldogs (38-12, 15-10 SEC) won 10-3 against the No. 6 Tigers (34-14, 14-11). "What are the odds of that? He was fine and then during in and out, he just didn't look right. After in and out, he came off the field and he was dizzy.
"I don’t think there’s concussion protocol on it or anything like that. We’ll see how the young man feels tomorrow.”
Wyers was in uniform for Game 2 but did not participate in warmups.
Wyers, a Bryant transfer, has split time with Woodson at shortstop this season but started five of the last six games before the injury. He's started 18 games and played in 32 with a .333 batting average, four home runs, 16 RBIs and 18 runs.
