Wisconsin transfer shooting guard John Blackwell became the second portal addition for the Blue Devils, commiting on Tuesday, April 21. Blackwell was one of the best shooters in college basketball during the 2025-26 season, averaging 19.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game while shooting 38.9% from deep.
