The Duke Blue Devils don't rebuild. They just re-tool.
This season, they'll lose at least Cameron Boozer to the NBA Draft, and maybe more. But they won't be lacking talent for Jon Scheyer to put on the floor next season.
One player who will highlight the new guard: Cameron Williams.
Williams is a high school senior, and on Thursday, he was named a high school boys basketball All-American by The Sporting News.
The old-school All-American team names just five first-team selections across the entire country, and Williams was one of them.
Williams is a 6-foot-11 potential superstar who played for St. Mary's in Phoenix, Arizona.
He's ranked the No. 1 power forward in his class and a five-star recruit.
He averaged 24.6 points, 12.0 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 2.8 blocks per game this season.
"The future Duke Blue Devil is the top-ranked power forward and the No. 3 overall recruit in the Class of 2026 after leading his St. Mary's Vikings to the brink of an Arizona AIA Open Division state championship," writes The Sporting News' Kendall Webb. "The Vikings lost to nationally-ranked Sunnyslope in the title game, 60-51. He was also the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Arizona."

He wasn't the only Blue Devils recruit on the All-American team, either.
Derron Rippey Jr., an uber-talented guard, was a second-team selection.
Duke would like to turn these recruiting wins into a national title soon, and if they keep bringing in players at this level, that may happen soon.
