Duke football has rescheduled two ACC games for the 2026 season from Saturday to Friday. The games include a rematch against Virginia on October 23 and a home game against Clemson on November 20.
Duke football is making changes to its 2026 schedule.
The Blue Devils announced on Friday, May 15, that two of their games for the 2026 season would shift from Saturday to Friday. The first is Duke's 2025 ACC Championship Game rematch at Virginia, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 24, but moved to Friday, Oct. 23. The next is the Blue Devils' home contest against Clemson, moved up from Saturday, Nov. 21, to Friday, Nov. 20, at Wallace Wade Stadium.
Manny Diaz's squad claimed the 2025 ACC championship crown, finishing the year 9-5 overall and taking down Virginia 27-20 in overtime. It marked Duke's first outright ACC title since 1962 and eighth-overall.
Duke wrapped up spring practice with its annual Blue & White spring game on April 18 and now looks ahead to getting its 2026 season underway on Saturday, Sept. 5, against Tulane from Wallace Wade Stadium.
