Dustin Johnson is among the players heading for the weekend at the PGA Championship after his even-par 70 on day two.
Johnson ended his first two rounds on two-over after opening with a 72 at Aronimink, where he is eyeing a third major championship win.
But such success has been hard to come by following his switch to LIV Golf, which is currently heading for a very uncertain future.
LIV Golf is set to lose its funding from the Saudi Arabia Public Investment Fund (PIF) at the end of the season, which could result in the league folding.
It is a future that Johnson has now discussed at Aronimink, where his focus is firmly on impressing at the PGA Championship on Saturday and Sunday.
When asked what he would do if LIV Golf does not exist next year, Johnson said after his second round of the major championship: “You have to ask me when it comes to that.
“I have no f—— idea right now.
“I’ve got two more rounds to play.
“That is the only thing I’m thinking about.
“I don’t look too far ahead.
“I’ve got a lot of good golf in there.
“Feel great.
“Body feels good.”
Johnson thinks LIV Golf is in a “pretty good spot” despite the concerns over funding, with that belief certainly backed up by his recent contractual commitment.
His multi-year contract extension was, however, signed in January, long before the PIF confirmed its decision to stop backing the tour.
Dustin Johnson responded to questions about LIV Golf's uncertain future but did not provide specific details on his plans if it folds.
Dustin Johnson finished the first two rounds of the PGA Championship at two-over par, with a score of 70 on day two.
Since joining LIV Golf, Dustin Johnson has struggled to achieve significant success, impacting his performance in major championships.

For now, Johnson is understandably focused on proceedings at the PGA Championship, for which he received a special invitation to play.
And despite his relatively underwhelming showings at recent majors, he has thus far justified that decision at Aronimink.
Johnson did manage a T33 finish at The Masters last month, along with a T23 finish at The Open Championship last year, but just before that missed the cut at Augusta, the US Open and the PGA Championship.
The experienced American will indeed now be eyeing a very strong weekend in Pennsylvania, where a handful of his LIV Golf counterparts have really struggled.
On LIV Golf in 2026, two-time major winner Johnson is 27th in the individual standings, with a T10 finish representing his best result from seven starts.
