OSHKOSH – The Oshkosh West High School gym is getting a makeover for one night.
There won’t be volleyball spikes, slam dunks or 3-pointers. But instead, there will be a wrestling ring as ACW Wisconsin is bringing a pro wrestling show.
Dylan Postl, a 2004 Oshkosh West graduate, formerly known as Hornswoggle with the WWE is putting on the event through ACW Wisconsin.
It’ll be the third time that this has happened at Oshkosh West with a couple years in-between each time.
“It’s been a few years and I was like, ‘Hey, why don’t we do (Oshkosh) West again’ and everyone was on board. Our whole roster was on board and the school was more than happy to have us,” Postl said.

The event will take place on Friday, April 24. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and it will start at 6 p.m. and last about three hours. All of the proceeds for the event will go to Oshkosh West athletics. The last two events have brought in a combined $10,000.
Tickets are available online on the ACW Wisconsin website and can also be purchased at the door. Front row tickets are $15, general admission are $10 and with a student ID, tickets are $5.
Postl is not the only Oshkosh West alum that will be wrestling as a total of four alumni will be participating, including Postl. Josh Binder, Postl’s best friend, will be teaming up with Postl for the final time at Oshkosh West before he retires after Water City Wrestlingcon.
“It’ll be our last time teaming up together in a match which is really emotional for both of us,” Postl said.
For Postl, it’s more than just giving back to the school he roamed the halls of and has a tattoo of the school’s logo.

“Binder and I walk the halls and it’s just funny because we have stories upon stories and then my son is a sophomore and his son is a senior there, so hopefully we get to kind of all walk the hallways together,” Postl said. “This is a special show for us. We love to be able to give back.
“I just hold this city so close to my heart and West as my high school, I really, really hold a really key piece in my life. I have the Oshkosh West logo tattooed on my arm just because the place means so much.”
The lineup for the show is a typical show with different storylines for a new fan group to enjoy.
“We have seven matches, which is our normal show. Usually this is like a smaller show, but we’re throwing everything at the school this time at the fans this time,” Postl said. “We have our heavyweight title on the line and Miles Mason is our champion. We have our Water City title on the line.
“We’re going to have fun that night. We want to really showcase what ACW is all about to a new audience and I think that’s very important, is showcasing what we bring to the table in all spectrums.”
