During games, DiSandro calms everybody down. He broke up an argument between Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and head coach Nick Sirianni in the Eagles’ playoff loss to the 49ers this past January.

DiSandro became popular on a national level during the 2023 season after he got in a sideline tussle with 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw.

Greenlaw was given a 15-yard penalty for slamming wide DeVonta Smith to the ground — leading to an exchange of words from both players. Moments later, “Big Dom” shoved Greenlaw slightly out of the way, which provoked the linebacker into poking him and getting ejected. DiSandro was also thrown out of the game. He was banned from the sidelines for the remainder of the 2023 season.
