BEEKMANTOWN â It was back to work for the defending sectional champions.
Despite the windy conditions and chill in the air, Beekmantown swept the boysâ and girlsâ tennis matches over Lake Placid.
In both matches, the Eagles dropped a combined nine points.
Dylan Brown and Evan Latinville won the boysâ No. 1 and No. 2. singles matches for Beekmantown.
In doubles, Jackson Goodwin and Sonny DeBella, Max Danville and Tyler Sand, and Ryan Dupray and Logan Demarse won the No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 matches, respectively.
The girlsâ match was more of the same as Olivia and Carly Hagadorn won the No. 1 and No. 2 singles, respectively.
The only points dropped by the Eagles were in the girlsâ No. 1 doubles. Julia and Lucy Conroy won 6-0, 6-3.
Sawyer Fleming and Jade Burdo along with Robin Lesinski and Ava Whitman won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles by 6-0, 6-0 scores.

CLINTONVILLE â NCCS opened its tennis season with wins in both boysâ and girlsâ tennis Monday.
On the boysâ side, the Cougars won, 5-0.
Kaze Carpenter and Ben Bresnahan won the No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches, respectively.
Mason Favreau and Jacob Martin won their doubles match by a score of 6-0, 6-0. It was the only doubles played as the other two were AuSable Valley forfeits.
In girlsâ play, NCCS won by a score of 4-1
Brynn Hite won the No. 1 singles over Ardyn Post by set scores of 6-1, 6-2.
The Patriotâs point came in the No. 1 doubles as Becca and Veronica Uss defeated Lexi Arnor and Alexa Gregory 6-4, 6-2.
The Cougarsâ Shai Juneau and Lucy Hicks along with Tenley Peryer and Grace Prairie won the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to secure the win for NCCS.
