Skidding Mets get cold reception in chilly Queens
Mets return home to chilly reception from fans during 11-game losing streak.
Fantasy expert consensus rankings for the 2026 season highlight Terry McLaurin and Jayden Daniels as potential busts. McLaurin's performance has declined, and Daniels faces stiff competition among rising quarterbacks.
Fantasy expert consensus rankings (āECRā) are starting to pop up across the Internet, giving managers an early glimpse into how the market might value hundreds of players this summer. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, here are the biggest Commanders busts based on ECR.
Terry McLaurinās incredible 2024 campaign was not replicated in 2025. Not even close. It wasnāt his fault, as injuries to him and to Jayden Daniels made the alpha receiver nothing more than a streamer. Experts are mostly willing to forget last season, giving him a WR24 ECR. But even thatās too bullish.
He was the WR7 in 2024, not because he got more looks (his target rate was his lowest since 2019), but because he caught 13 TD passes. His yearly average entering that season was five. That eight-touchdown bump equated to 48 fantasy points, which catapulted him from fringe weekly starter to near-elite asset. That level of productivity cannot be easily replicated, especially for someone turning 31 years old in September. McLaurinās a long shot to finish in the top 24.
Daniels is the other likely bust. While he should rebound nicely, his QB5 ECR assumes heāll pick up where he left off in 2024. There are many other rising quarterback talents, including Drake Maye, Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence, Bo Nix, and Jaxson Dart. In other words, this isnāt the same fantasy landscape from two years ago. Daniels will be competing for top-10 value, not top-5 value. Heās a strong fade.

Terry McLaurin is viewed as a bust due to a significant drop in performance from 2024 to 2025, compounded by injuries and an unrealistic expectation of replicating his previous touchdown success.
Jayden Daniels is currently ranked as QB5 in expert consensus rankings, but experts suggest he may struggle to maintain that position due to increased competition from emerging quarterbacks.
Injuries have significantly impacted the fantasy value of both players, limiting their performance and leading to skepticism about their ability to return to elite status in the upcoming season.
