Early 2026 fantasy expert consensus rankings: Giants busts

Fantasy expert consensus rankings (“ECR”) are starting to pop up across the Internet, giving managers an early glimpse into how the market might value hundreds of players this summer. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, here are the biggest Giants busts based on ECR.

Jaxson Dart is at least modestly overvalued at his QB7 ECR. It has nothing to do with his talent. Instead, managers should consider that his rapid rookie rise was due, in part, to nine rushing scores in 14 games. He threw for only 2,272 yards. Yes, one might justifiably argue that a healthy Malik Nabers would have strongly boosted his passing numbers.

But a QB7 ranking assumes weekly startability. It also assumes he’ll once again be on pace for 100+ rushing attempts and plenty of goal-line carries. He was evaluated for concussions on four separate occasions. It’s hard to envision the Giants wanting him to be that aggressive that often. A pullback in rushing stats will equate to a pullback in fantasy numbers, pushing him outside the top eight.

Cam Skattebo’s season-ending ankle injury shouldn’t affect him entering 2026, at least not physically. But managers shouldn’t rank him as a sure-fire top-20 running back. His RB21 ECR assumes he’ll comfortably outperform Tyrone Tracy. It also assumes his body will hold up -- not an easy bet for someone with his physical running style. He’s not a guy who goes out of bounds; instead, he invites contact. He’s a risky bet to play in 14+ games.
