Early expert consensus rankings for the New York Jets highlight Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall as key players, but they face uncertainty in a struggling offense. Geno Smith is undervalued at QB33, while tight end Mason Taylor is seen as a potential bargain with room for improvement.
Fantasy expert consensus rankings (âECRâ) are starting to pop up across the Internet, giving managers an early glimpse into how the market might value hundreds of players this summer. As we look ahead to the 2026 season, here are the biggest Jets bargains based on ECR.
Not all bargains are built equally. Some are massive. Others are much narrower. When it comes to the Jets, itâs difficult to identify any âmassiveâ bargain. Itâs a team with two exceptional playmakers who, when healthy, should be able to meet or even slightly exceed expectations. One is Garrett Wilson (WR16 ECR); the other is Breece Hall (RB15 ECR). But neither seems like a sure bet, especially in an offense thatâs averaged 20+ points per game for only one season in their past 10.
Searching elsewhere for slightly bigger bargains, we find Geno Smith, whose QB33 ECR suggests experts think heâll be benched or hurt by November. Itâs a safe assumption, as the Jets are expected to draft a quarterback. But on a per-game basis, Smith is undervalued.
Mason Taylor (TE25 ECR) is a bigger bargain. Drafted last year to serve as this franchiseâs long-term starter, Taylorâs slow start was due largely to injuries and ineffective quarterbacking. Smith should stabilize the passing attack somewhat, opening the door for Taylor to crack the top 20 and make a reasonable push for top-16 production.
Finally, keep an eye on Adonai Mitchell (WR61 ECR). Currently, thereâs no #3 WR challenging his status. Maybe that will change in the draft. For now, he has a clear lane for finishing somewhere between 2025âs Kayshon Boutte (WR50) and Chimere Dike (WR55), with a shot at top-45 numbers if Smith slings it 550+ times.

Garrett Wilson is ranked as WR16 and Breece Hall as RB15 in the early expert consensus rankings for the 2026 season.
Geno Smith is ranked QB33, suggesting he may be benched or injured, but experts believe he could perform better on a per-game basis.
Mason Taylor, currently TE25, could improve his ranking due to a more stable passing attack with Geno Smith, potentially pushing for a top-20 finish.
