Barcelona have an advantage due to the relationship that their sporting director, Deco, enjoys with Palmeirasâ academy co-ordinator JoĂŁo Paulo Sampaio. The pair have already discussed Conceicao.
Paris Saint-Germain are also tracking the situation, although they are yet to take any concrete action. It is understood that Conceicao and his representatives will consider every proposal and make the best financial and sporting decision.
Aged 16 years and just over four months, Conceicao can become Palmeirasâ third-youngest debutant ever. Only Endrick (16 years, two months) and Rodrigo Taddei (16 years, three months) would be ahead of him, with Estevao (16 years, eight months) trailing behind.
United should be wary of losing out on Conceicao simply because they hesitate. The Red Devils would do well to monitor the increasing movements circling the young talent.
Heâs a prospect for the future with seemingly limitless potential, judging by the quality of clubs chasing him.
