Defensive lineman Stive-Bentley Keumajou has committed to the Florida Gators, choosing them over the Georgia Bulldogs. He is ranked as the No. 37 defensive lineman and No. 530 overall player in the class of 2027.
Elite defensive line recruit Stive-Bentley Keumajou has committed to the Florida Gators, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. Keumajou made the announcement live and the Georgia Bulldogs remained in the mix for the talented lineman until he reached a final decision.
Keumajou is listed as the No. 37 overall defensive lineman and the No. 530 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports Rankings. The big man would have been a solid addition to Georgia’s 2027 recruiting class, and Keumajou could easily emerge as a star during his time at Florida next season. He is ranked as the No. 29 overall player out of Florida. Keumajou ultimately decided to stay home despite receiving interest from coach Kirby Smart and the rest of the Bulldogs’ staff.
With Keumanjou's commitment, Florida has the nation's No. 6 recruiting class. The Gators have 13 total commitments and a significantly larger class than Georgia, who has just seven commitments. The Bulldogs have the nation's No. 22 recruiting class and a lot of work to do, especially after three-star wide receiver Aden Starling just announced his decommitment.
Standing at 6-foot-3, 295 pounds, Keumajou has excellent speed and athleticism for a player of his size. The defensive lineman has been a superstar during his time at Coral Gambles High School in Miami. Georgia will now turn elsewhere following Keumajou’s decision, as a plethora of talent still remains available from the class of 2027 as of early May.
Georgia recently lost an extremely talented commit from the 2027 class, as cornerback Jerry Outhouse flipped to the UCLA Bruins despite being locked in with the Bulldogs since March 6. The Dawgs were able to land a commitment from five-star tight end and he has the potential to become a massive threat for Georgia’s offense in 2027.
Keumajou decided to stay home in Florida despite interest from Georgia, indicating a preference for the Gators.
