Although there is still time for the Los Angeles Rams to make additions to their roster before the regular season, the 2026 team is close to being set. We know who most of their starters will be on offense, led by Matthew Stafford, Kyren Williams, Puka Nacua and Davante Adams.
The starting offensive line is penciled in, too, while the tight end group still has some sorting out to do – which is a good problem to have, given the team's depth.
ESPN's Mike Clay projected individual stats for every key member of the Rams offense, predicting what their numbers will look like by season's end. He's expecting another standout year from Stafford, as well as the always-consistent Williams and Nacua.
The biggest question is at WR3, where there's no clear-cut contender for that spot. Here's a look at Clay's projections for 2026.
Clay is projecting another big year for Stafford, who won MVP with 4,707 passing yards and 46 touchdowns last season. Though these projected numbers don't come close to his MVP stats, it would still be his third-highest touchdown total since 2012 and right on the fringe of his 11th 4,000-yard passing season.
ESPN projects Matthew Stafford to have another standout year, although specific stats were not detailed in the excerpt.

The biggest uncertainty for the Rams' offense in 2026 is the WR3 position, where there is no clear contender.

Simpson won't get a chance to play unless Stafford gets hurt or the Rams are in a blowout, but they probably wouldn't mind getting their first-round rookie some reps while up big on an opponent.
This would be a similar split to what we saw in the backfield last season when Williams had 259 carries to Corum's 145. Nate Atkins of The Athletic expects it to be much closer to a 50-50 share, but we'll see how the season plays out if both backs are healthy.
Regardless, 2,000-plus rushing yards from two players would be fantastic for the Rams, keeping the offense balanced with Stafford's high-powered passing attack.
If Williams were to hit 1,000 yards rushing again, it would be his fourth straight season reaching that number, and his fourth straight with 10-plus touchdowns.
This is a fascinating group on the roster. Nacua and Adams are the clear-cut top two, but after that, there's no surefire WR3. That's atypical of Sean McVay's offense, where there's usually a quality No. 3 receiver who puts up good numbers for the Rams.
Clay is projecting a big year from both Nacua and Adams, but he's not expecting the backups to have much of an impact. Whittington is the No. 3 option in this exercise, and Clay only has him finishing with 161 yards. Daniels is also pegged for modest and disappointing numbers as a rookie with only three grabs.
The WR3 spot will come down to the four receivers listed below Adams, assuming the Rams don't make a splash before the season or during it.
Here's where some of the lost yardage at wide receiver is accounted for. Like last year, the Rams are expected to use all of their tight ends frequently. In 2025, the top four tight ends all had at least 200 yards receiving after Parkinson was the only one to reach that plateau in 2024.
Clay sees Ferguson as the top tight end following a fairly quiet rookie season that was highlighted by some big grabs sprinkled in, with Parkinson and Higbee as the second and third tight ends. Allen and Klare could battle for snaps as the No. 4 tight end this season.
