Eagles' Offense: Concerns Over Crowded Receiving Room?
Evan Mobley and the Cleveland Cavaliers advanced to the second round of the NBA playoffs after a challenging Game 7 against the Toronto Raptors. Mobley averaged 18 points and 8.6 rebounds in the series, showcasing his ability to step up when needed.
The NBA playoffs will continue for the Cleveland Cavaliers. In Game 7, Evan Mobley and the Cleveland Cavaliers were able to get the job done and get one step closer to their goal. The Toronto Raptors took everything out of the Cavaliers and gave them a tougher first-round series than many anticipated.
In this series, there were games where Evan Mobley took on the role of the lead scorer, and there were games where he was a complementary piece. To start the series, Mobley was really productive as he had a 17-point effort in Game 1 and a 25-point performance in Game 2. He was less productive in the first two road games in Toronto.
Mobley then picked things up as this series started heating up, with 2 straight 23+ point performances. Game 6 was his best game of the series, and unfortunately, it took a game-winner for the Cavaliers to come up short. Yet Mobley showed he can pick up the slack and lead his other co-stars when they don't have it.
Mobley finished this series off with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists. Not his best showing, but it was good enough to put this series away. In 7 games, Mobley averaged 18 points, 8.6 rebounds, and he shot 39% from 3. This was not a bad start to the postseason from Mobley, but if the Cavaliers want to get into the Eastern Conference Finals more smoothly, he will have to take it up a notch.
