Evan Mobley shines but he and Cavs still come up short

The Cleveland Cavaliers' series versus the Toronto Raptors has been an entertaining watch; in each game, the home team has come out victorious, and Game 6 was no different. Toronto controlled Game 6 most of the way. What prevented this game from being a blowout win for the Raptors was how good Evan Mobley was. Evan Mobley led the Cavaliers with 26 points. He was efficient too, shooting 9-15, and had 14 rebounds.

Mobley put an end to the trend of him playing just great at home, with his best game of the series coming on the road. He kept up his great play all the way to the final tick, when the clock went to 0. Evan Mobley drained a 3 late to give the Cavaliers a cushion. Following that, in the final seconds of regulation, Evan Mobley got the play drawn up for him, and he delivered a layup to send the game to overtime.

Unfortunately, sometimes you have to capitalize on pivotal moments in the game, and while Mobley made winning plays, on the plays that decided the Cavaliers' fate last night, he was on the wrong side of.

In overtime with a 1-point lead and 10 seconds to go, the ball ended up in Mobley's hands, and it then ended up out of bounds, resulting in a turnover. On the game-winning shot, Mobley was defending R.J. Barrett, who sank the game-winning 3 in his face.
