Another week of United Football League action brought more news involving former members of the Kansas City Chiefs franchise. Following Columbus Aviators head coach Ted Ginn Jr. being charged with driving while intoxicated, former Chiefs head coach Todd Haley stepped in as acting coach during Week 3.

Haley, who is the team's offensive coordinator, took Ginn's place as coach for last Sunday's game against the Dallas Renegades. Columbus, however, fell to 0-3 after losing to Dallas 23-28, and the two teams will meet again Friday night in Week 4.

"I'm very comfortable in this position, I'm grateful for Ted for having faith in me to do it," said Haley in the postgame press conference, "I'm grateful for the league having faith in me to do it. I'm very comfortable… I've been on both sides of it, so it's different when you get to handle the whole team, so it was fun."

Haley spent more than two decades in the NFL, including his stop as head coach of the Chiefs from 2009 - 2011. He finished with a 19-26 record in Kansas City and notably won the AFC West in 2010. He had tenures as the offensive coordinator for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cleveland Browns.
