Sherrone Moore was sentenced on Tuesday in the case of breaking into the home of the woman he had an inappropriate relationship with when he was the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines.

Judge J. Cedric Simpson at 14A-1 District Court in Ann Arbor sentenced Moore to 18 months probation, avoiding any further jail time. He is not allowed to use any alcohol or recreational marijuana, nor have any possession of any weapons. Additionally, Moore will be forced to continue receiving mental health treatment, and he is not allowed to have any contact of any kind with former Michigan staffer Paige Shiver, the subordinate in question. Finally, Moore has court fines that total up to more than $1,000.

Moore and his legal team reached a plea deal in March where he pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges — malicious use of a telecommunications device in context of a domestic relationship, and trespassing — that were added at that time by prosecutor Katie Rezmeierski.
