Former Queens Park Rangers captain Steve Cook will leave the Championship club when his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old joined the R's from Nottingham Forest in 2023 and has made 99 appearances, scoring five goals.
In a statement, QPR said Cook would likely make his 100th and final appearance for the club in a send-off against Swansea City at Loftus Road on Tuesday, before the R's "look to the future" with their selections for their last two games of the season against Derby County and Ipswich Town.
"It's never easy to leave a club, but with the amount of games I've managed to play over the three years, I hope I've been able to contribute on and off the pitch," Cook said.
Centre-back Cook served as captain for the R's until handing over the armband to fellow defender Jimmy Dunne before the beginning of the current season.
He has made 30 appearances in all competitions for the club this season, starting 22 times in the league. Four of those appearances have come since the beginning of February.
Julien Stephan's side are 11th in the Championship with 58 points. They mathematically cannot reach the play-offs or be relegated to League One.
