Rob Havenstein predicts the Los Angeles Rams will draft a receiver with the No. 13 pick in the 2026 NFL draft. He believes the team will focus on adding a dynamic offensive player rather than an offensive lineman.

Veteran offensive lineman Rob Havenstein recently retired after 11 seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, so he should have a pretty good sense of where the team will be looking in the 2026 NFL draft. And so, in a conversation with Erin Coscarelli, Havenstein predicted that his old club would draft a receiver with the No. 13 pick.
"Add just another dynamic guy," he said. "But the draft is always such a volatile thing where it's they'll probably get to go for best player available. I don't believe they're going to take an offensive lineman. If you're going 13th overall for an offensive lineman, than that man better start right away. No one wants to see a depth piece of an offensive lineman at No. 13."
Havenstein joked, too, that the Rams could take Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq instead with the pick and play around with some 14 personnel sets. But, more than likely, Havenstein seems to think general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay will target another pass-catcher to add another piece to the offense while they make a Super Bowl run.
NFL draft experts have tended to agree. The Rams have been connected to seemingly every first-round prospect in this year's class, from Makai Lemon and Jordyn Tyson to Denzel Boston and Omar Cooper Jr. Picking at No. 13 is nice, then, because at least one of the top players should be available with that pick.
So, depending on who the Rams like more, L.A. could have its pick of the litter with their first-round selection.
