IPL 2026: KL Rahul scripts history, becomes first Indian to…
KL Rahul makes history as the first Indian to score 150 runs in IPL, achieving 152 against Punjab Kings.
The Los Angeles Rams drafted tight end Max Klare at No. 61 and offensive lineman Keagen Trost at No. 93 in Rounds 2 and 3 of the NFL Draft. Experts gave the Rams a grade of B for these selections.
The Los Angeles Rams came out with a stunner in the first round, selecting Ty Simpson 13th overall. On Friday night, they continued to add to the offense, drafting tight end Max Klare at No. 61 and offensive lineman Keagen Trost at No. 93.
It's been a somewhat puzzling haul so far, but for a team with no pressing needs, it's hardly surprising that the Rams are taking the guys they believe are the best players available, regardless of position.
Here's a look at how experts graded the Rams' Day 2 selections of Klare and Trost.
The Rams added yet another tight end to the fold despite re-signing Tyler Higbee this offseason. Klare looked like a second-round pick at Purdue, then was a bit lost in Ohio State's offense last season, leading me to view him as more of a third-rounder.
L.A. found a potential future right tackle in Trost, who doesn't look like an elite athlete but settles into his stance and simply doesn't get beat -- he's not unlike former long-time starter Rob Havenstein. I'll be interested to see if Trost outperforms fellow Day 2 values Gennings Dunker and Caleb Tiernan.
Round 2 – Max Klare: B+

How he fits with the Rams: The Rams took a tight end in the second round for the second consecutive year. After selecting Terrance Ferguson in 2025, general manager Les Snead doubled down with Klare, who should primarily be a chess piece while getting few in-line snaps. Los Angeles loves to play in multiple tight end sets, making Klare a good fit in the offense.
Round 3 – Keagen Trost: C+
How he fits with the Rams: The Rams are trying to find their future right tackle after seeing Rob Havenstein retire this offseason. Los Angeles is betting on experience rather than upside, as Trost is more of a finished product than most due to his age.
Klare is the most natural receiver at tight end in the draft class. He's a smooth route-runner who makes it look easy catching outside his frame. While I know the Rams are majoring in 3-tight ends sets right now, I'm not sure what skillset Klare offers that's not on the roster and that's keeping this from an A-grade.
