Chelsea plans to add experienced players to their squad this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano. However, fans should not expect a major overhaul, as the club will continue focusing on signing young talents.
Fabrizio Romano: Chelsea will add experience this summer but no revolution expected
Fabrizio Romano has said that Chelsea WILL add some more experience to their squad in the summer transfer window.
However, he has also warned Blues fans not to expect some kind of revolution, and the club will be sticking to their principle structure of signing young talents who are raw.

The proof is always in the pudding with these things. And we can hear all about the plans or whatever the club want to try and do, it’s what they actually end up delivering that counts. Chelsea fans are angry right now, and they will be fully sceptical when reading things like this.

Speaking on GIVEMESPORT’s Market Madness show, in quotes picked up on X, Romano said:
“Chelsea will add experience but it’s not going to be a complete revolution at Stamford Bridge, they maintain their identity, trusting young players, developing them, signing top young talents.
“Chelsea will add some experienced players on top of young talents this summer, it’s too early to say the names yet because it will depend on Champions League and other things.
“Chelsea insist on keeping Liam Rosenior, they can’t go on like this results wise but overall, expectation is Rosenior is in charge next season, and he will be involved in transfer targets discussions.”
Chelsea are suffering as a team, and individually too. The stats for the season show a big decline in Blues performing at their best. Moises Caicedo has dropped from 6th to 66th now in one key stat.
Chelsea are looking likely to fall into the “Ten Hag Trap” of keeping Liam Rosenior even after it’s clear he’s not up to it. They’ve been warned about that this week.
