Falcons take LSU LB Harold Perkins in sixth round of 2026 NFL Draft

With the second of their two sixth-round picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons selected LSU linebacker Harold Perkins Jr. at No. 208 overall. Perkins is another athletic linebacker prospect with a ton of versatility. He was ranked as the 221st prospect on PFF's 2026 big board.

Some scouts aren't sure where the Tigers standout will play in the NFL, but the Falcons have done well with these type of hybrid linebacker prospects under defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.

"Perkins is a unique athlete without a clear positional fit due to size and role limitations," PFF wrote in Perkins scouting profile. "He projects as a situational defender and special teams contributor with designed pass-rush usage."

The Falcons already added versatile Oklahoma linebacker Kendal Daniels in Round 4, and now they get another talented prospect to help fill the void left by Kaden Elliss. While neither player is guaranteed a major role this season, both have a ton of upside in the right role.
