OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) â The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated in Game 1, taking one step closer to defending the title, and Thunder fans showed up for their team, loud and proud.

Thunder fans showed out at Scissortail Park, local restaurants, and the Paycom Center to support Oklahomaâs team as they took on the Phoenix Suns.
âI feel like the chemistry is unmatched with our team, and I feel like everybody is really vibing, so I feel like we can do it again,â said Megan Hanson, a Thunder fan.
âThe atmosphere is electric, like loud city is loud city for a reason, like it really is one of a kind,â said Dylan Howell, a Thunder fan.
Sunday marks Game 1 of the NBA playoffsâ first round, and Thunder fans are hopeful about what lies ahead.
âWe got the MVP, and weâre the number one seed for a reason. So we are feeling good,â said Cameron Ray, a Thunder fan.
The big game brought in fans from all over, even people from out of state, like Brandon Binno from Michigan.
âWe had front row seats right on the floor. I mean, it was like electrifying,â said Brandon Binno, a Thunder fan.
The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated Game 1, securing a victory.
Thunder fans showed up in large numbers, cheering loudly for their team.
The win in Game 1 brings the Thunder one step closer to defending their title.

Many Thunder fans say OKC is taking it all the way. Others are saying theyâre taking it one game at a time.

âFeeling good! Weâre one of the favorites, first seed coming out, but you canât be complacent. The teams do a good job, they help each other, theyâre young,â said David Muñoz, a Thunder fan.
However, after last yearâs championship win, Thunder fans are hoping itâs just the beginning of a repeat.
âGoing back to back, thereâs not a whole lot of teams that do that. This teamâs special though, theyâre getting better and better every time they play,â said Blake Hunt, a Thunder fan.
