Overall, very happy with it. High-character guys who have played well, been captains, and fought through adversity. Good because the last playoff win is older than some of these dudes. Lots of help in the secondary, especially Stukes and Johnson who will allow for multiple looks. (Even in that base 3-4, we’re still going to see a lot of 3-3-5.) Zuhn is a steal who can fill in along the line, even if his quickest shot onto the field is G. McCoy was worth taking a flyer on.
Became clear they want to see what will happen with the development of Bech and Thornton and Pegues and Hemingway from last year. I even liked a lot of the UDFAs (though I would’ve liked to have seen Ethan Burke).

I’m fairly happy with the draft. I think we seemed to pick players with good character, good production and good (maybe great) athletic traits.
Considering the low point we start from I expect a lot of the picks to have an impact and in a couple of years it could be our entire starting secondary in one draft.
I also think that we seemed to draft decent players last year, most of whom didn’t get a proper chance or were not coached well. I’m hoping that we see a bit of a double hit this year from both draft classes with the likes of Bech, Grant, Hemingway and (hopefully) Pegues making telling contributions throughout the season. As well as Jeanty unleashed.
I’ll stop drinking now!!🤣

Patience comes to mind first. After past poor results in the draft and bad to mediocre seasons for so long, it truly is difficult to not desire instant success. I then turn to hope for stability in the organization that can take us in a competitive direction for years to come. The current draft picks make sense and it seems KK and Spytek clearly have a vision. My overall opinion is based on where the Raiders are now, the draft was definitely better than recently and the light at the end of the tunnel is brighter than I can ever recall. Good luck to all Raider players, coaches and staff. Raider Nation For Life!

Overall, I really liked the selections, it feels like this team now has a firm grasp on the type of players they’re looking for, which is a strong requirement for success. On the plus side, hit areas of need with solid selections. Love the McCoy selection and the quality depth we built at both RB and in the secondary. Crawford selection I am little hesitant about, but they did their research on him, so I will trust them. A little disappointed they didn’t get that stud big bodied NT, but you can’t address every need in one draft. I am sure they have a plan for that spot. Overall, very hopeful and optimistic, nice to see we’re acting like a smart franchise, finally.
