Over a hundred mock draft analysis pieces, dozens of scouting reports, and more full-first-round mock drafts later, we have arrived at the week of the 2026 NFL Draft.
Despite us just highlighting so many of the exercises that we just mentioned, but whats one more? We have one final Mock Draft Monday to work through. For this one, it is a blend of what positions we think the Vikings will go after, but also which players we think they should pick for those positions. As an added twist, we throw in a trade that, while it is unlikely to happen, it highlights that anything is possible during this week.
Without further delay, here is our final Vikings' Mock Draft Monday of the 2026 NFL Draft cycle.
Minnesota Vikings receive: 34th and 65th overall picks in 2026 and a 1st Round Pick in 2027
Arizona Cardinals receive: 18th, 97th, and 234th overall picks in 2026
This is a move that can come about with two things being true. First, Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort could be desperate enough to make this move. The Cardinals' general manager is in a win-now moment for himself. He has hired his second head coach of his tenure, the team is starting over, and owner Michael Bidwell needs to see something in 2026. Starting over with a franchise quarterback achieves that longer leash for him, and if he mortgages the future for the potential replacement for him, it is not his problem.
Second, because the Vikings lack a cemented person at the general manager spot, they could be looking to get as much value as they can. It doesn't get much better than landing an extra pick in 2027.
The Vikings are focusing on specific positions based on their needs, as highlighted in the final mock draft analysis.

On offense, the Vikings land two potential starters in Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price and center Connor Lew. At the very least, Lew should start due to the retirement of Ryan Kelly this offseason. For Price, though, he will have to earn the starting role, but in a room with Aaron Jones and Jordan Mason, he would have a decent shot at doing so.
The defense gets a supercharged shot in the arm with the selections, highlighted by Caleb Banks. The rest of the picks make up depth additions, special-teams additions that are needed, and a starting cornerback. All of that could go a long way in addressing what the team has in terms of holes within the roster at various levels.
