Phase 3 road closures for the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh have been announced, affecting key areas from April 23-25. The closures aim to create a pedestrian-friendly environment for the event.
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (BLACK AND GOLD NATION) — Phase 3 road closures and traffic modifications were announced Friday in advance of the 2026 NFL Draft taking place April 23-25.
The Pittsburgh Local Organizing Committee, in partnership with PennDOT, Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh and Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) announced the closures, which are the most significant traffic adjustments ahead of the Draft. Under the closures, North Shore and Downtown will be transformed into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly space for draft day activities.
Phase 3 road closures include all previously announced Phase 1 and Phase 2 closures, as well as the following roads:
These closures are required to support event infrastructure, enhance public safety and to create a seamless fan experience for the NFL Draft.
