Five things to know about Browns' new, "electric," WR KC Concepcion

Cleveland checked that wide receiver box late in the first round with the selection of Texas A&M's KC Concepcion. Concepcion has all of the tools to be a great wide receiver in the league, but he has one major thing to overcome: drops.

The fact that he has a drop issue on his resume is enough to scare Browns fans, but if they can manufacture ways to get him the football, he is "electric" with it in his hands. Here are five things to get to know Cleveland's newest receiver.

1. Nod of approval

Concepcion has the nod of approval from one of the greats of all time. Former Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens great Steve Smith Sr. said that Concepcion was one of his favorite receivers in this draft. He likes him so much, even with the drops, that he said that teams will regret passing on him.

2. "Best route runner and separator in the draft."

Yahoo's Matt Harmon said last night after the pick that Concepcion is the best route runner and separator in the draft. When he can separate, that eliminates the concern of his size, and if he can fix the drop issue, Cleveland might have gotten their hands on a player whose ceiling is the sky.

3. Incredible amount of self-confidence

Concepcion battles publicly with a stutter issue that he does not shy away from; rather, he accepts it. He does not let the daily challenge define him as he overcomes it every single day. His new head coach commented on it during his media availability on how important that is for him. Concepcion himself even acknowledged it in the letter he put out to the NFL's general managers before the draft.
