The Philadelphia Flyers have revived their 2011-12 victory song in a postseason hype video, continuing a tradition of celebratory music after wins. This season, Olivia Dean's 'Man I Need' has been a staple in the locker room.

The Philadelphia Flyers have been known to have traditions that their fans are passionate about. Oftentimes, one of the most fun traditions is as simple as a postgame victory song.
This season, Olivia Deanâs âMan I Needâ has been heard blaring from the locker room after wins. Occasionally, the Star Wars âCantina Bandâ music makes an appearance, which is my personal favorite.
Weâve seen it with other Philadelphia sports teams. The Philadelphia Eagles adopted Meek Millâs âDreams and Nightmaresâ during their 2018 Super Bowl run. Kyle Schwarber and Garret Stubbs led the Phillies clubhouse with the Calum Scott and Tiesto edition of Robynâs âDancing on My Own.â
Still, none may be more nostalgic, to me anyway, than Mac Millerâs âKnock Knockâ, which was the Flyersâ victory song during the 2011-2012 season. It made appearances beyond that season, but the song really sticks with that team.
That season, the Flyersâ season ended in the second round, after eliminating, you guessed it, the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round.
The Flyers have brought other core pieces of team nostalgia back at times this season. For their Easter Sunday matchup against the Bruins, Lauren Hart sang âGod Bless Americaâ instead of the National Anthem for the first time since pre-COVID. It was brought back for the Monday clincher against Carolina as well.
Now, it seems as if Knock Knock could be coming back.
Flyersâ star Trevor Zegras posted a hype video for the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs on his Instagram. The soundtrack? âKnock Knockâ.
Does he know the significance? Weâll have to wait until Saturday to find out. But it feels like a small part of Flyers nostalgia is coming back.
