Former Alabama wide receiver Jermaine Burton will reportedly take part in the Buffalo Bills’ rookie minicamp this summer, per NFL insider Jordan Schultz.
Originally a third round selection by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024, Burton is an extremely young receiver that will look to get back on an NFL roster prior to the 2026 campaign. Burton was released by the Bengals in December, but the talented playmaker is still just 24 years old, and will look to emerge as a standout from Bills’ rookie minicamp this summer.
Burton spent the first two seasons of his collegiate career at Georgia prior to transferring to Alabama in 2022, and the former Crimson Tide star now finds himself in a position to showcase his skills before the season begins in September.
Burton recorded 798 yards and eight touchdowns during his final season at Alabama in 2023. The route runner played an essential role in the Tide’s SEC Championship victory during head coach Nick Saban’s final season, as Burton will now look to fight his way towards a spot on the Bills’ roster.
