Chelsea are major outsiders against Man City at Wembley on Saturday, but former Blues manager Glenn Hoddle thinks they can turn that in their favour.
“Too many teams just drop in, their number nine comes so deep and they try to defend, defend, defend,” Hoddle said in quotes picked up by FourFourTwo.
“I understand that, and that’s what will happen, but there are a few things they’ve got to try to come up with, to try to cause them a problem and make them think. If not, they’re going to be in for a tough day… You’re not going to have possession, so they’re going to have to come up with something that’s going to give City something to think about.”
