I think I agree with Glen Johnson when he says that Cesc Fabregas would âdefinitely get the playersâ respectâ at Chelsea.
And to be honest for me, this is going to be the most important thing about the next permanent manager of Chelsea. They need a personality and name that will demand their respect and someone they will listen to and buy into. If they fail to do that, they could be in big trouble next season.

These players are immature and can often be very pedantic. They need someone to come in and instil some discipline, but they need someone they can believe in and respect. Fabregas is certainly a good shout on that front, but I think itâs pretty clear he wont be coming to manage Chelsea any time soon.

In words quoted by SPTC today, Johnson said:
âBoth [Andoni] Iraola and [Cesc] Fabregas have credentials, having Premier League experience as a manager is huge whereas Cesc knows the club a lot better and as a former player, would definitely get the playersâ respect.â
