Davidson began his NFL career in 1984, joining the Cleveland Browns as a member of the team's equipment staff and spending five years with the franchise before joining the Kansas City Chiefs in 1989. He joined head coach Marty Schottenheimer in the transition, becoming the new leader of the Chiefs' equipment department.
During his illustrious career, Davidson has worked with 23 Pro Football Hall of Famers.
