Former Clemson guard Del Jones has found his next destination, committing to Seton Hall after a breakout season at Radford.
Jonesâ move marks his third school in as many seasons. The 6-foot-3 guard began his collegiate career at Clemson during the 2024â25 season before transferring to Radford, where he elevated his game and emerged as a high-impact scorer.
In his lone season with the Highlanders, Jones started all 32 games and averaged 17.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, while shooting 41.6% from the field. His performance earned him Second-Team All-Big South honors, solidifying his reputation as a dynamic backcourt threat.
Now, Jones heads to a Seton Hall program that is trending upward under head coach Shaheen Holloway.
The Pirates are coming off a remarkable 21â12 (10â10 Big East) season, one of the biggest turnarounds in college basketball after finishing just 7â25 the year prior. Despite being picked to finish last in the conference, Seton Hall surged to a fourth-place Big East finish, advanced to the conference tournament semifinals, and entered the postseason conversation as an NCAA Tournament bubble team.
Hollowayâs leadership earned him Co-Coach of the Year honors from the Metropolitan Basketball Writers Association, while standout guard Budd Clark led the team with 12.7 points and 4.9 assists per game, earning All-Metropolitan First Team recognition.
Jones now joins a program with clear momentum and an opportunity to contribute immediately in the Big East. His scoring ability, combined with his experience across multiple systems, gives Seton Hall another versatile weapon as the Pirates look to build on last seasonâs success.
After steady growth from Clemson to Radford, Jonesâ next chapter in South Orange presents his biggest stage yet.
