A former Clemson playmaker is officially set to begin his NFL career in Baltimore.
The Baltimore Ravens announced Thursday they have signed fifth-round pick Adam Randall to his rookie deal after selecting him No. 174 overall in the 2026 NFL Draft. His four-year contract is valued at roughly $4.6 million and includes a signing bonus of $379,480.
Randall’s selection stood out for a different reason as well. Team owner Steve Bisciotti made the pick himself, marking the first time he has personally chosen a player since purchasing the franchise in 2004. General manager Eric DeCosta explained that Bisciotti did his homework before making the call, leaning on his relationship with Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney during the process.
Randall arrives in Baltimore after carving out a unique path at Clemson. He spent the early part of his career at wide receiver before shifting into a running back role late in the 2024 season, eventually making the move permanent in 2025. That transition paid off, as he rushed for 813 yards and 10 touchdowns while averaging 4.8 yards per carry. He also remained involved in the passing game, adding 36 catches for 254 yards and three scores, along with contributions as a kickoff returner.
His versatility placed him in rare company in program history. Randall became just the fourth Clemson player to record at least 750 rushing and 750 receiving yards in a career, joining names like C.J. Spiller and Travis Etienne.
