Crouch also pointed toward Liverpoolâs current attacking situation as one of the reasons the club should seriously consider the move.
According to the former striker, concerns remain regarding the fitness and availability of some of Liverpoolâs current forwards.
âIsak has just come back and I think heâll have a good season next year. But who would say no to signing Lewandowski?
âHe still knows exactly how to score goals. Thereâs no doubt about that.â
The former Liverpool forward also suggested that the clubâs heavy spending in recent transfer windows has not fully delivered the expected results, making Lewandowskiâs situation particularly appealing from a financial perspective.
âWhat they spent last summer has, in the end, proved not to be worth it.
âLewandowskiâs case is different because heâd arrive on a free and eager to prove himself in the Premier League. I wouldnât have any doubts,â he concluded.
